Welcome to Waktu Solat Je (“the App”). These Terms of Use govern your use of the App and its related features, including prayer-time information, notifications, widgets, and any advertisements displayed in the App.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Purpose of the App
Waktu Solat Je provides prayer-time information and optional prayer-time notifications based on a selected zone and third-party data sources. The App is provided for personal, informational, and convenience purposes only.
Prayer times may vary because of calculation methods, data-source updates, local authority guidance, device time settings, network availability, or technical issues. You are responsible for verifying prayer times with the relevant religious authority, mosque, or trusted local source when precision is important.
The App does not provide religious rulings, legal advice, medical advice, or professional advice.
2. Eligibility and Lawful Use
You may use the App only in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on that organization’s behalf.
You must not use the App in a way that:
- Violates any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Interferes with the App, its servers, networks, or data providers.
- Attempts to reverse engineer, modify, decompile, or create derivative works from the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Attempts to access data, accounts, or systems without authorization.
- Uses the App for harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.

3. Notifications and Device Settings
Prayer-time notifications depend on device settings, Android permissions, battery-saving features, network conditions, and the availability of the operating system. You are responsible for enabling notifications and maintaining the device settings required for the App’s notification features.
We do not guarantee that every notification will be delivered, displayed, heard, or received at a particular time. Notifications may be delayed, silenced, blocked, or affected by device settings, battery optimization, operating-system restrictions, manufacturer-specific restrictions, or connectivity issues.
You may turn notifications off at any time through the App or Android device settings.
4. Prayer-Time Information and Third-Party Sources
The App may use third-party prayer-time and zone-data services. We do not own or control those services and cannot guarantee that their information is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for every location or method of calculation.
The App may allow users to select among available data sources. You are responsible for selecting and verifying the source appropriate for your needs.
Third-party services may change, suspend, or discontinue without notice. We may change, replace, or remove data sources or App features at any time.
5. Advertisements
The App may display advertisements, including advertisements served by Google AdMob or other third-party advertising providers.
Advertisements are provided by third parties. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any advertised product, service, offer, content, website, or transaction. Any interaction with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser.
